Mr. Sankaran is a skilled AI engineer and data scientist on the Data Science CoE team at Deutsche Bank, specializing in building and productionizing QA chatbots using NLP and Generative AI. His collaborative projects with industry leaders like Nvidia and HPE reflect his passion for transforming academic research into end-to-end AI/ML business solutions that add significant value to the bank. Before joining Deutsche Bank, Kannan developed innovative deep learning models at AppNexus (now Xandr, a part of AT&T), including the first model designed to predict sensitive advertisements for publisher brand safety. Alongside his professional endeavors, Kannan is an active adjunct faculty member, dedicating his spare time to teaching and research.
