Dr. Yu boasts over a decade of research and teaching experience specialized in biophysics, applied mathematics, and data science. Throughout his PhD and postdoctoral studies, he authored or co-authored more than ten papers in prestigious peer-reviewed journals, contributed to a book chapter, and secured a patent. Dr. Yu has extensive experience in designing and teaching courses in applied mathematics and data science, including linear algebra for data science, probability for computer science, data visualization, and more.
